Watershed Academy

The International Watershed Academy (IWA) is a new World Water Watch initiative being developed with the University of Cuenca and the National Polytechnic University of Quito, Ecuador. Students are trained in all aspects of watershed science, conservation, management and outreach. Field experiences and community internships are an important element of the Academy. The IWA will act as a template for satellite academies throughout Latin America.
